Service Terms
1. Accepting a quote and confirming your slot
The client must sign and return the project agreement identifying the written quote and agreed scope, by email or WhatsApp. A phone call or informal enquiry does not confirm a booking. A project slot is secured only after both parties sign the agreement, receipt of the 60% deposit as cleared funds, and Bond Studios’ booking confirmation email. Please send proof of payment with your quote reference; proof alone does not confirm cleared funds. We confirm availability before requesting a deposit; payment alone does not guarantee a requested date.
Your confirmation email will state the package, agreed scope, deposit received, project start date, content deadline and target delivery date. The full design questionnaire follows booking. If a requested slot is unavailable, we will offer alternatives before taking payment.
2. Deposit and final payment
A 60% deposit is due to confirm the booking. The remaining 40% is payable after written approval of the preview and before public launch, handover or release of the final shareable website link. A private preview is provided for review before the balance is due. We do not request the balance merely for submitting an enquiry.
Your quote sets out the total price, applicable taxes, due dates, payment details and any separate hosting, domain or third-party costs. Additional work requires written approval of its price and timing. No recurring debit is created by these terms.
3. Content and responsibilities
The client supplies accurate content and has permission to use submitted photographs, logos and other material. The quote states who writes copy, sources images and checks content. The client should not share passwords, banking information or guest records through a general brief form.
4. Revisions and scope changes
The quote states the number of design directions and revision rounds included. A revision refines the agreed design; additional pages, functionality or a substantially different direction may need a revised quote. Neither party should assume that changes are unlimited. Approved scope changes must record their effect on cost and delivery.
5. Timelines and approval
Delivery dates depend on the agreed scope, timely content and feedback, and necessary third-party access. Delays should be communicated and a revised schedule agreed where needed. Launch requires written client approval and satisfaction of the agreed launch conditions. A deadline is not guaranteed merely because it appears in an enquiry.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Please request cancellation in writing by email or WhatsApp. The deposit reserves studio time and funds project work. On cancellation, it is applied to work already completed, properly authorised unavoidable costs and any reasonable cancellation charge permitted by law, without charging twice for the same loss. It is not automatically forfeited in full: any amount retained must be reasonable and justified, taking account of the notice given and whether the slot can be filled. Any unused balance will be refunded.
Applicable cooling-off, cancellation, quality and refund rights remain intact, including circumstances where a cancellation charge is prohibited by law. If Bond Studios cannot deliver the agreed work, we will discuss an appropriate handover or refund for undelivered work, subject to your legal rights.
7. Ownership and permissions
The client retains ownership of material they supply. The quote must specify the ownership or licence granted for bespoke designs and code, any payment conditions, and whether editable source files are included. Fonts, stock images, templates, plugins and other third-party components remain subject to their licences. No automatic ownership of every underlying platform component is promised.
Publishing client work in the Bond Studios portfolio requires the client’s written permission. Private wedding details and guest information must not be used as marketing examples without a separate lawful basis.
8. Hosting, domains and ongoing support
The quote must set out the domain registrant, hosting term, renewal fees, support included, backup arrangements, export options and what happens when hosting ends. Clients should have a reasonable opportunity to export agreed content and records before scheduled removal. Design fees do not automatically include indefinite hosting, email, edits or maintenance. No automatic renewal or debit is created by these terms. The service includes 30 days of bug fixes for faults in the agreed functionality from launch. Ongoing support is quoted after assessment; new features and additional amendments are quoted separately. No monthly support subscription or automatic monitoring is included. This support period does not limit applicable statutory rights.
9. Features and third-party platforms
RSVP tracking, dashboards, bookings, ticketing, payment processing and integrations are included only if expressly scoped. Their access, privacy, operating costs and support must be agreed. Search-engine positions, sales and uninterrupted third-party availability are not guaranteed. Nothing here removes an obligation to deliver the agreed service with the quality required by law.
10. Problems and changes to terms
Please report project concerns to stormjane123@gmail.com or WhatsApp 079 383 8313, quoting your project or invoice reference. We will review the concern and discuss a fair resolution in writing. South African law applies, without restricting non-excludable consumer rights or access to a competent regulator or court. Changes to an accepted project require agreement; updating this webpage alone does not rewrite an existing contract.
